The Men on the Move programme is a community based ‘beginners’ physical activity programme for inactive adult men that aims to improve the overall health and wellbeing of participants.
It is normally a six-week or 12-week programme set up in local community groups for men aged 35+. The sessions help improve physical activity levels, mobility, and strength with a big emphasis on social engagement and getting to know other men in your community.
It’s aimed at adult men to help them get more active and also improve their social interaction through sport.
Programmes are mixed depending on the communities’ facilities
The sessions will involve structured group exercises including stretching, mobility work and fun games.
The core components of the structured group exercise are cardiovascular fitness, and strength and conditioning training.

Men On The Move Sessions can be indoors our outdoors depending on the weather and location/time of year.
