Irish Olympic Handball Association supported by Westmeath Sports Partnership are delivering a coaching course for teachers of 5th and 6th class students.
This course is FREE TO ATTEND and includes modules on: rules of game, technique, pass, reception, jumping, shooting, steps, introduction games and practical elements.
The Olympic handball workshop lasts for a total of three hours and takes place at Clonkill GAA Club on Monday, October 23, from 1.30pm-4.30pm.
An Olympic Handball starter pack will be provided to each organisation and participants are asked to please dress in comfortable clothing/sports gear for practical elements.
It’s hoped to organise an Olympic Handball tournament for all participating schools on Thursday 7th of December for 5th and 6th class pupils.
