Westmeath Sports Partnership is delighted to confirm that it enjoyed hosting its most successful Her Outdoors Week Ever, with more than 160 women taking part in over a dozen events all across Co. Westmeath this year.
The annual celebration of activities for females outdoors saw record numbers take part in watersports, walking, cycling, kayaking, yoga and much more from August 14-20.
Her Outdoors Week is supported by Sport Ireland, and we also wanted to thank our brilliant local partners who helped organise, supervise and instruct at so many different events.
Overall, we supported thirteen events and recorded 161 participants who took time to escape to the outdoors.
The week, and the events themselves, are not possible without co-operation from so many individuals and groups, so we wanted to say a special thanks to everyone who took time to take part in, or organise, a course or programme.
Below you will find a gallery of images and videos from the events of Her Outdoors Week so make sure to tag and share.
We hope that you keep ‘finding your outdoors’ and have discovered something that will help keep you physically active in this wonderful county.
Don’t forget that to keep up with the latest activities and news from the Westmeath Sports Partnership, follow our social media channels and keep an eye on the website for more news and course and programme opportunities.
