The initial sessions of this programme will take place along the Old Rail Trail Greenway, with the meeting point at Old Rail Trail Car Park. Some subsequent sessions may take place in Mullingar Town Park but this will be confirmed in advance with the tutor.
This programme is aimed at adults aged 50+ who are looking to get outdoors and improve or maintain their fitness and health in a welcoming, social and supportive environment.
The sessions will involve light, gentle walking along the greenway with the activator poles and incorporate some strength and balance exercises.
All sessions will be led by qualified, experienced and supportive exercise professionals. Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring a drink.
All programme details will remain the same unless notified by the Westmeath Sports Partnership or the programme tutor.
