5-week introductory daytime fishing course in Mullingar aimed at adults aged 50+

PLEASE READ BELOW:

The Angling CAST Programme is an introductory fishing course delivered over 5-weeks that will take place on the banks of Mullingar Harbour from 1pm – 2.30pm on Thursday’s June 11, 18, 25, July 2, 9.

• This course is aimed at adults aged 50+ who want to learn or develop their fishing skills in a relaxed, social and inclusive environment.
• This programme is being delivered in collaboration with the Angling Council of Ireland with experienced and skilled coaches facilitating each session.
• All equipment will be provided but appropriate clothing and footwear is highly recommended.
• Cost of registration is €25.
• Spaces are limited so please only consider registering if you expect to be able to make at least 3-4 of the sessions.
• There will be strictly only catch-and-release practices in place.
• Participants who complete this course will gain certification in the ‘Angling CAST’ programme from the Angling Council of Ireland.

As this is an outdoor activity, please be aware that sessions may be postponed in the event of adverse weather conditions.
