Westmeath Sports Partnership is delighted to share details of our upcoming fully-funded Good2Go! Training Course, designed to support groups such as Active Retirement Clubs, Men’s & Women’s Sheds, Community Groups, and Disability Service Provider Staff in planning and leading light, inclusive physical activities within their communities.
This free four‑week programme features four practical workshops, each running for 3.5 hours, and each workshop will include seated elements to ensure comfort, accessibility, and confidence for all participants. The training is ideal for anyone involved in community groups or disability service provider staff who would like to develop practical skills for leading enjoyable, age‑friendly and inclusive activities.
Workshops include: Short Slots for Fitness, Step to the Beat, Social Target Games, Activator Poles
Registration free-of-charge is essential online via the below links, with attendance at only one location for each of the four dates required. Spaces are limited. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
