Mullingar Community Invited to Support ‘The FTD Brothers’ – Making Dementia Visible Fundraising Marathon Campaign

Mullingar, Co. Westmeath – Schools, community groups, and members of the public are being encouraged to gather in Mullingar Town Park on Wednesday, 13th May to support The FTD Brothers as they continue their extraordinary fundraising challenge in aid of dementia awareness and research.

The FTD Brothers are currently undertaking an ambitious initiative to run 32 marathons across Ireland, aiming to raise vital funds and shine a spotlight on dementia and its impact on families and communities nationwide.

Mullingar will play host to one of these marathon events, and organisers are calling on the local community to turn out in large numbers to provide encouragement and support throughout the day either by running some or all of the distance, provide water stops along the route or to cheer them on along the way.
