Dipper to Swimmer Programme
This is a programme designed to appeal to those that don’t have the ability or confidence to participate in our Beach to Buoy. This programme will bring the swimmer back to basics and will strive to bring the swimmer from a casual dipper to one who can swim 50 metres comfortably.
Beach to Buoy Programme
Dreaming of swimming out to that first buoy? This is the course for you. The programme is designed to improve confidence and technique in open water. Participants should be able to swim 50m, with a goal of completing 700m at the end of the programme.

What to Bring
Wetsuits are recommended but not essential, all participants must have a tow float. You will receive information on what to bring attached to the booking confirmation email.

If you can swim 700m and want to improve, this is the programme for you!
It’s aimed at experienced swimmers who want to improve technique, skills and stamina in open water. Participants should be able to swim 700m already with a view to building distance in a safe and encouraging environment.
