SUMMARY:Maroon Lakers Activity Programme For Teens With Disabilities (13-17)
DESCRIPTION:The Maroon Lakers Multi-Activity Programme is an initiative by Westmeath Sports Partnership which is facilitated under the Sports Inclusion Programme and supported by The Community Hub based at Athlone Regional Sports Centre. \n\n\n\nThe programme caters for teenagers with a disability aged between thirteen and seventeen years of age. \n\n\n\nThe Multi-Activity Programme will be implemented over six weeks\, comprising of fun activities\, focusing on agility\, balance\, and coordination of participants. \n\n\n\nClasses begin on Saturday November 09 and continue each Saturday until December 21 (Nov 09\, 16\, 23 and December 07\, 14. (Please note there is no class on November 30.) \n\n\n\nClasses begin at 10.50am and conclude at 11.45am. \n\n\n\nPlease note places are limited and will be offered on a first come basis. \n\n\n\nA minimum number of participants is required to facilitate this programme. \n\n\n\nFor further information please contact : \n\n\n\nFergal Towey (Athlone Community Sports Hub Coordinator) – fergal@athlonesrsc.ie or 090 – 6470975
