SUMMARY:Safeguarding 1 - Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Workshop
DESCRIPTION:All Coaches\, Club Children’s Officers (CCO) and Designated Liaison Persons (DLP) must first complete the 3 hour Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Workshop.  \nThis workshop educates participants on the implementation of best practice in safeguarding the welfare of children involved in sport. \nThe online Safeguarding 1 Workshop is an interactive course which requires participants to have : \nGood internet connection to allow you to have a video / take part in group discussion. \nAccess to email – Zoom link and course materials will be sent out to participants prior to course date in word and PDF. \nTo gain accreditation\, it is essential to complete the whole course. \nPlease beware : \n\nThis course is for Over 18’s ONLY – MAXIMUM 2 persons per club/sports organisation.\n\n  \n\nEach participant must have their own individual Zoom connection.
