DESCRIPTION:This cycling programme\, led by Lakeside Wheelers Mullingar and supported by Westmeath Sports Partnership and Westmeath County Council\, is a perfect opportunity for adults to dust off the bikes\, get back on the saddle and come out cycling in this welcoming and supportive environment. \nGet ready to pedal your way to a healthier lifestyle while meeting some new people\, enjoying the fresh air and exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Lake County. \nWHEN: Tuesdays\, 6.30-8/8.30pm. \nWHERE: Meet at Old Rail Trail carpark. \nDATES:  June 18th  \nCOST: €15. \nESSENTIALS: Must have own roadworthy bike and helmet. \nAGE: Over 18s only. \nGeneral plan for programme:\nCarry out safety checks on participants helmets\, “M” safety check on everyone’s bike\, and explain what the plan is to do each evening. \nEvening 1: Cycle out to Ballina\, stop at the shop for refreshment etc. distance 10km. \nEvening 2-4 extend duration to Jack Stop for refreshment etc. distance 35km. \nEvery evening will be assessed based on participants fitness\, weather\, etc. \nRegister here: Social Cycling Programme for Adults with Lakeside Wheelers Mullingar!
