Swimming Course: 

 

Helpers Certificate Course: Swimming for people with disabilities

 

 

The Helpers Certificate Course: Swimming for people with disabilities is certified by Swim Ireland. The course equips candidates with an awareness of disability issues, basic knowledge of safety, basic knowledge of skills and to enable candidates to help in the conducting of a session led by a qualified teacher. The course also aims to equip candidates with the basic knowledge of the Amateur Swimming Association education, training and competition structure.

 

The course will be implemented over one day and will consist of theory and one practical session. Candidates most be sixteen years of age and over.
