We’re delighted to welcome you to yet another edition of our Westmeath Sports Partnership newsletter.
Key Highlights from the August 2025 Newsletter:
- Her Outdoors Week 2025: Her Outdoors Week kicks off on August 11, 2025, and runs until August 17, 2025. The newsletter includes a packed schedule of events, many of which are free to participate in, though advance registration is required.
- Meet our new team member Loraine Treacy: Loraine Treacy has joined the Westmeath Sports Partnership team as the new Programme Manager.
- Win some Westmeath Sports Partnership goodies: Westmeath Sports Partnership is hosting its first-ever Orienteering MapRun Challenge from August 1st to August 31st, 2025. The challenge is a fun way to explore the outdoors, and participants can win prizes by submitting screenshots of their completed courses.
- County Outdoor Recreation Plan: The public is invited to provide feedback on the new County Outdoor Recreation Plan for Westmeath. Two free public consultation workshops will be held for clubs, groups, and community organizations, but participants must register online in advance.
