In This Together

Westmeath Sports Partnership encourages and supports participation in sport and physical activity by providing information and training and by organising activities and programmes, either directly, or in partnership with other individuals, groups, clubs and partner agencies.

Westmeath Sports Partnership’s key aims are to increase participation in sport and physical recreation and to ensure that local resources are used to best effect. WSP is using our own tutors and staff to produce videos showcasing a range of games, skills and challenges which can be found on our social media platforms listed below:

WSP are sharing content from a variety of local and national providers to give the public further opportunities for ways to stay fit and healthy. Many of these are available on Sport Ireland’s website, as well as our own social media platforms. Vistit Sport Ireland for more information.

WSP tutors including Niall Fagan and Ken Fitzpatrick are producing a range of videos including family games, challenges and even self-defense classes to help people stay fit and active during the current restrictions. Further content is currently being developed with other tutors and additional ideas from Athlone Regional Sports Centre.
