Some great CycleSafe themed drawings were submitted by our primary schools. Congratulations to Emma from St Marys Rathowen whose superb drawing won her school a €200 voucher towards CycleSafe programme delivery.
‘Westmeath County Council in conjunction with Westmeath Sports Partnership and Downs Syndrome Ireland invited primary school students to participate in the 2017 Primary School Road Safety Art Competition to coincide with the Tour de Leinster – a 4 day cycle to raise funds for Down Syndrome Ireland covering 600km of road across Leinster.
Emma Lyne from St Mary’s National School Rathowen was overall winner securing funding to the value of €200 towards the cost of hosting the Westmeath Sports Partnership Cycle Safe Programme.
