Club Grant Scheme for 2012
Westmeath Sports Partnership is delighted to announce the Club Grant Scheme for 2012. Grant Scheme Funding is available under two categories:
1.0 Coaching
2.0 Club Development
Through a very simple application process, clubs ( both new & existing) who are affiliated to an Irish Sports Council recognised National Governing Body e.g. GAA, FAI etc. or a recognised Disability Organisation can apply for grants of up to €400 under each of these categories. Priority will be given to minority sports, low participation groups and the target groups identified in the Westmeath Sports Partnerships strategy.Whilst clubs may apply for grant aid for equipment purchase, referees fees etc, applications that create a positive impact on participation levels and demonstrate sustainability within the club will have a greater propensity for funding approval.
The Coaching Fund focuses on developing quality coaching resources in Westmeath and encouraging all coaches/leaders to undertake appropriate education and training. The Development Fund aims to encourage the set up of new clubs and assist existing clubs in their development.
To apply for funding please read the relevant criteria and submit a completed Application Form to Westmeath Sports Partnership by COB on Friday 27th of July. Grant allocations will be announced on Friday 7th of September. All Forms can be downloaded below.
