Plans are currently in full swing for Destination Sport Mullingar which is taking place from Thursday, June 21st to Sunday, June 24th.
Many local clubs have already signed up to participate in Sports Zone, some are going to showcase their club in a demonstration while other clubs have organised events which give the public the opportunity to try out some of the many sports on offer in Mullingar. There are also many different events for the individual. On Friday, June 15th the National Criterium Cycle Race takes place in Mullingar Town Centre on Saturday, June 16th the Fighting Cancer Triathlon takes place in Belvedere House, Gardens and Park, the ‘Streets on Fire’ 5k Road Race taking place on Friday, June 22nd and on Saturday June 23rd the Red Earth 5k walk takes place.
